In this meeting he sees all the towns pack and sees how they all where part of this mans (devil) life. Brown didnt so easily consider in, so the devil in this dream presented him with a woman going through the crowd barely neer shows her facial expression. This woman is wearing pink ribbons that take out Browns attention because his wife Faith wears pink ribbons as well.

though Brown tries to see the face of this woman he never meets the other side of her back. At the end this dream ends up taking the faith and his presumption away. Brown even distrusted his own wife Faith and he lived what I would call a miserable life. Because Brown garbled everything he truly believed in even the faith of his wife, it shows that the devil succeeded on his persuasion.
